The Royal Scottish National Orchestra have released a beautiful animated film featuring their performance of Jonathan Dove's Gaspard’s Foxtrot, which is available to watch free on YouTube. The film is the latest chapter in the RSNO's collaboration with the world-leading music education platform Charanga, who, as well as the film, have made related educational resources accessible to 4 million schools.
Gaspard’s Foxtrot is a 30-minute Musical Tale for Narrator and Orchestra by Jonathan Dove, with a story by Zeb Soanes and illustrations by James Mayhew. The film is available to watch in the following languages: English, Gaelic, British Sign Language, French, Polish, Romanian, Chinese, Urdu and Arabic.
