Esa-Pekka Salonen’s season as Artist in Residence with Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra continues on December 5th and 10th when Salonen himself conducts the Swedish Premiere of Tiu, his latest work for orchestra, the choral work Donna Nobis Pacem and Stockholm Diary, the piece he wrote for the SRSO in 2004. In April 2026 Maxim Emelyanychev will conduct Nyx, Salonen’s work from 2011 which explores the legend of Nyx, the shadowy figure in Greek mythology. Finally in June 2026 Nicolas Alstaedt performs Salonen’s Cello Concerto conducted by Salonen’s Finnish compatriot Susanna Mälkki.
