On Tuesday July 6, the world premiere of In Certain Circles by Nico Muhly, will be presented at the Philharmonie in Paris as part of the Days Off Festival.
The Orchestre de Paris under Maxim Emelyanychev will perform this new concerto for two pianos and orchestra with the pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque.
This new work has been commissioned by the New York Philharmonic, Jaap van Zweden, Music Director, Tonhalle Düsseldorf- Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Orchestre de Paris - Philharmonie de Paris, and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
The US premiere will take place at Carnegie Hall next spring on April 27 with the New York Philharmonic conducted by Jaap Van Zweden.
