Britta Byström wins the Stora Christ Johnson-priset, Sweden’s most important award for composers, with her double concerto Infinite Rooms for violin/viola and double bass.

Infinite Rooms is a creative, playful and precise composition. With a very personal and well articulated voice, paired with great craftsmanship, Byström takes tradition in a new direction with a work that bravely, and without hesitation, dances its way forward.
