The Libertador Suite by Gustavo Dudamel, created from the original film soundtrack which he has composed for the 2014 film The Liberator, premieres at the Hollywood Bowl on July 31 with film accompaniment. Dudamel conducts the Los Angeles Philharmonic and they are joined by the Los Angeles Master Chorale with their director Grant Gershon.

The Liberator (Libertador) (2013)
Starring Edgar Ramirez, Erich Wildpret and María Valverde, The Liberator is directed by Alberto Arvelo. The film is about Simon Bolivar, who fought over 100 battles against the Spanish Empire in South America. He rode over 70,000 miles on horseback. His military campaigns covered twice the territory of Alexander the Great. His army never conquered - it liberated.
