        Programme Note

        Rhomb in Silhouette begins in stillness, unhurried, a slow unfolding that gradually quickens, whorling with intense energy before patiently subsiding into silence; an ever-ascending melody, tracing a diagonal path across the rhomb.

        Rhomb in Silhouette responds to a brass sculpture Rhombus, 2017, developed by the artist Germaine Kruip in collaboration with Thein Brass.
