Programme Note
Sludge lines’ refers to pipes and systems that transport sludge, a semi-solid residue from wastewater treatment, or the entire process and infrastructure for treating and disposing of sludge.
‘Sludgelines’ are lines that have been transformed into sound, sluggish, muddy, slushy and mostly deep-sounding lines that slowly and muddily meander through the sonic underground, eventually becoming purified and clarified melodies.
