ST PAUL’S MASS, a setting of the Missa Brevis (no Credo) was written for and dedicated to the Chamber Choir of St Paul’s School, London while Ben Parry was Director of Music there.
The first performance of the original version for two-part choir and organ took place on 8th February 2006 at St Paul’s Cathedral, London UK by St Paul’s School Chamber Choir conducted by Ben Parry, with Philip Berg (organ).
The first performance of the revised version for SATB choir and organ took place on 15th June 2014 as part of the Aldeburgh Festival service at Aldeburgh Church, Suffolk UK sung by Aldeburgh Voices (now Britten-Pears Chamber Choir) conducted by Ben Parry, with William Saunders (organ).
