Blist’s Hill was recorded for The NMC Songbook by Stephan Loges (baritone) and Iain Burnside (piano), and subsequently released by NMC Recordings in 2009.
Blist’s Hill sets a new poem by writer Simon Christmas in which a reflection on the relentless passing of history is triggered by a young boy’s bored shape-scrawling in the Shropshire earth.
