Church Music (2011)
for choir and organ
The anthem, Church Music was commissioned to form part of The Choirbook for the Queen and was composed for the choir of Truro Cathedral, and their then Director of Music, Chris Gray. The work sets George Herbert’s visionary poem, Church Music, which explores music’s capacity to transport us to ‘heaven’s door’.
