R (2021)

Emily Howard's R is a work for solo percussion that explores geometrical concepts and exponential growth and decay through sound.

Commissioned by the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, it was first performed by Julian Warbuton on 11 June 2021 at the Bristol Arnolfini, Bristol, as part of Soliloquies & Dialogues – Music made in Lockdown.
