The Boar's Head Carol
- Peters Edition Limited (World)
Programme Note
The Boar's Head Carol is a 15th century English ‘macaronic’ carol traditionally sung at The Queen’s College, Oxford. This eight-part arrangement was written for The Swingle Singers’ US tour in 1990.
This arrangement is part of the Kikapust Choral Series curated by The Swingle Singers. The series offers choirs an extensive choice of close-harmony a cappella arrangements. All the arrangers/composers Jonathan Rathbone, Ben Parry & Mark Williams were long-standing members of The Swingle Singers.
