Programme Note

Matthew Taylor’s Concerto for Horn in F and Strings is a 20-minute work written in 1999 and revised in 2004. It was commissioned by Ryedale Festival, where it was first performed by Richard Watkins and the Goldberg Ensemble, directed by Malcolm Layfield.
