Programme Note
Sea Voyage by Roxanna Panufnik is a 15-minute contemporary work for solo guitar. It was commissioned by the Julian Bream Trust for the Wigmore Hall debut of young artist Diogo Carlos in November 2021. Sea Voyage is a musical journey from the United Kingdom, through Diogo’s native Portugal to India through their respective chordophones.
