Oozing Earth (2019)

The first angel sounded his trumpet.
Then hail and fire mixed with blood fell on the earth.
It burned up a third of the earth, a third of the trees, and all the green grass. (Rev. 8:7)

OOZING EARTH is the draft of a sonic apocalyptic panorama. In a final, violent act of resistance, the earth, bleeding from all its wounds and beaten to death, rears up against its alienated child. Endowed with reason and theoretically far-sighted, but practically incapable of acting accordingly, humanity strives powerlessly toward its demise.
What we should protect, we destroy. What we have created enslaves us. Worshiping false prophets, we distance ourselves more and more from what is alive. Our senses are so numb that we can hardly hear the warnings of the guardians. Against all life, we reach out to Brother Technology. Once again, for the last time, the earth mobilizes all its forces: pounding rhythms, booming sounds, and powerful growls combine to create the ultimate swansong for humanity, for which Austrian composer Bernhard Gander fused the sonic and linguistic codes of black metal and death metal with contemporary art music.

Two international stars of the extreme metal scene - Flo Mounier [drummer for the bands CRYPTOPSY and VLTIMAS, among others] and Attila Csihar [MAYHEM singer and voice of the cult band SUNN O)))) -will unleash Gander's acoustic apocalypse together with the musicians of Ensemble Modern.

Then the seven angels prepared to sound the seven trumpets. (Rev. 8:6) The last days have begun.
