Programme Note
Franz Waxman arranged the end of Romanian Rhapsody No. 1 in A Major for violin and orchestra, based on the Georges Enesco Suite, for the film Humoresque (Warner Brothers, 1947). Unfortunately the scene for which it was intended was cut from the film.
