Programme Note
Composed in 2020 at the invitation of the Festival de Chaillol for the vocal ensemble Musicatreize, "Lands Unseen" for 6 voices a cappella sets poems of four female writers from different places and times (Violet Jacob, Isis Copia, Nelly Sachs, Marjorie Agosin) who have experienced exile and/or the loss – permanent or temporary – of their homeland.
