Silver Key - from Music to two Fragments by Shelley:
Throughout my life as an active reader I have been taken by poetic signals emerging from the poems of Percy Bysshe Shelley. He reaches us with his dropshaped Morse signals of meaning, evoking sound-scapes that are often innocently white. Shelley's poetry has an accommodating air that will easily thrill composers, and this was a great aid to me as I wrote music to his two fragments to music.
