Arnold Portrait in Birmingham

The Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra will celebrate the 85th birthday of its patron Malcolm Arnold when it performs an evening of the composer’s music on February 19.

The concert, conducted by Michael Lloyd, includes Arnold’s Little Suite No 1, Tam O'Shanter Overture, March from The Bridge on the River Kwai and Symphony No 5. It takes place at Birmingham’s Adrian Boult Hall, with a repeat performance at Leominster Priory on February 26.
