The success of the Stuttgart Ballet Company’s revival of their original production of the John McCabe/David Bintley ballet Edward II in July has led the company to schedule a further three performances this Autumn in Germany – on October 9/18 and 19. Once again, these performances will take place at the Stuttgart Opera House. A recording of the score is available on Hyperion CDA67135 with the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, conducted by Barry Wordsworth.
