The world premiere of a new orchestral work by Allain Gaussin, Instants d’éternité, will take place on October 7th 2022 at Staatstheater Cottbus.
Instants d'éternité attempts to express certain cosmological questions through music: weightlessness, interstellar rhizomes, the arrow of time, the big bang... Would there be other times? Would there be other life forms in the universe?
Passionate about astrophysics, Allain Gaussin is a visionary who loves dream and fantasy. He follows an international career opening unsuspected horizons and collaborating with Ensemble Intercontemporain, Orchestre de Paris, Nouvel Ensemble Moderne Montreal, Klangforum Vienna, Modern Ensemble Franckfurt, KNM Berlin, BCMG Birmingham, Tokyo Sinfonietta, Argento Ensemble New York, Meitar Ensemble Tel Aviv, Studio for New Music Ensemble Moscow, Arditti String Quartet and JACK Quartet, among others.
