Rued Langgaard now published by Edition Wilhelm Hansen

Rued Langgaard’s position as one of Denmark’s major composers is already established nationally, and his compositions are increasingly drawing attention worldwide. At Edition Wilhelm Hansen we are proud to be able to play a role in making Langgaard’s music more widely known, promoting and distributing his music to a wider range of orchestras, festivals and musicians worldwide.
A large part of Edition Wilhelm Hansen’s imminent work with Langgaard’s music will be the completion of The Rued Langgaard Edition, which began in 2000.
Managing Director at Edition Wilhelm Hansen, Loui Törnqvist, says:
Edition Wilhelm Hansen will proudly continue the immense work that has already been done with The Rued Langgaard Edition. It is an important part in the Danish music life and music history that we are now becoming part of. We will participate in and contribute to this work with great enthusiasm and humility.
