The Winter's Tale
10th March 2014

Having worked together on the acclaimed Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Wheeldon and Talbot continue their collaboration with Shakespeare's late, great romance. The story follows the destruction of a marriage through consuming jealousy, the abandonment of a child and a seemingly hopeless love. Yet, through remorse and regret - and after a statue comes miraculously to life - the ending is one of forgiveness and reconciliation. The Winter's Tale is one of the highlights of The Royal Ballet Season.
Booking has already opened and tickets can be purchased from the ROH website.
The Winter's Tale will be broadcast as part of the Royal Opera House's Live Cinema Season. It will be broadcast live on April 28. Details of screenings can be found here
