Jocelyn Pook wins 2012 British Composer Award
Jocelyn Pook has been awarded a British Composer Award for DESH in the Stage Works category. 

The winners of the 2012 British Composer Awards were unveiled at Goldsmiths' Hall, London on Monday 3 December. There will also be a special concert on Wednesday 5 December in the Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall, where previous winning works will be performed, including extracts from Ex Maria Virgine by John Tavener, and Threshold of Night by Tarik O'Regan.

The British Composer Awards are presented by BASCA and sponsored by PRS for Music in association with BBC Radio 3. On Sunday December 9 BBC Radio 3's Sunday Concert at 2pm will feature the Awards.
