Total Immersion: New from the North with the BBC Symphony Orchestra
As part of their Total Immersion series, the BBC Symphony Orchestra has announced a day of music and film to celebrate the 80th birthday of Per Nørgård.

On Saturday 9th March 2013, the Barbican will host a UK premiere of his Symphony No. 8, alongside works by fellow Dane Hans Abrahamsen and Finnish composers such as Magnus Lindberg and Kaija Saariaho.
