Endorphin is not only an endogenous opioid that drives our feelings of excitement, pain and love, but also the title of a new work by Søren-Nils Eichberg. Endorphin is a concerto grosso for solo string quartet and chamber orchestra and was commissioned by Mahler Chamber Orchestra. The work will receive its world premiere on December 15 in Landshut, Germany.
