Camilla Hoitenga will give the UK premiere of Kaija Saariaho’s flute concerto Aile du Songe on March 6 as part of the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s composer in focus series. She will also give the German premiere on May 3 with the Hessischer Rundfunk. The US premiere will follow at the Ravinia Festival on July 6 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Christoph Eschenbach.
