Martin Creed has a new solo show opening at the IKON Gallery in Birmingham on September 24. It is a survey of new and recent work by the artist and will run until November 16 2008. There will be a performance of Work No. 955 , a new piece of music written for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Andris Nelsons. Other associated events include an Artist’s Talk on October 3 and a screening and live performance with his band on October 4.
Martin has also donated a work to the ICA Auction Exhibition where all the works will be sold in aid of the ICA to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Full details can be found here.
