Cobbett Medal for Joseph Horovitz

Horovitz’s chamber works published by Novello include his Clarinet Sonatina , which has entered the repertoire world-wide. Two Novello works - String Quartet No 5 and Fantasia on a Theme of Couperin - feature on a recent CD, “Fantasia and Quartets”, played by the Carducci Quartet and their string ensemble. The Carducci Quartet will be performing String Quartet No. 5 on May 13 in the Hampstead and Highgate Festival and on June 18 in the Mananan International Festival, Isle of Man.
