Programme Note

Stefan Zweig's poem “Juninacht” (June Night), in which he writes about soft waves of light, gentle winds and sweet scents, served as the basis for the mood of this composition. The essence of the line 'All flowers breathe softly' was reinterpreted musically to depict the transformation of a flower into a floral arrangement. The piece depicts the process of creation, blossoming and decay.
