Programme Note
Come Eco II for guitar and string orchestra is commissioned by Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. The piece is a new version of Come Eco for guitar and string quartet, that I composed in 2024. In the music, you can hear echoes from my earlier works, but I have also been fascinated by the idea of echoes in an acoustic space; How the original sound is transformed and reflected in the ensemble and how the musical material develops as the music progresses.
