Programme Note
Sometimes it is not easy to find a suitable title for an abstract piece of music, hence the title of this short work for Horn and Piano. Fast and slow sections of increasing length alternate through the piece and much of the writing for the horn is lyrical, with stronger rhythms in the quick music.
This piece has been written for Ben Goldscheider to whom it is dedicated. It was completed in August 2024.
