Hay una Mujer Desaparecida (1979)

Hay Una Mujer Desaparecida is another set of variations, on the song by Holly Near which was a lament, commemoration and protest for the women who had been "disappeared", imprisoned and killed by General Pinochet's junta in Chile during the seventies. The variations come in groupings, each on a different section of the song, of eight, eight, four and four, with the last variation of the last grouping extended at length and internally subdivided (nine times).
