Peggy (1993)

Peggy was written for Roland Dahinden, also Hildegard Kleeb and their new daughter Anna. The music's a kind of tribute to Peggy Seeger, daughter of Ruth Crawford Seeger, half-sister of Pete, herself an extraordinary singer, songwriter, collector of songs, and cheerful political activist. Material for the music is drawn from songs both collected and written by her.
