Programme Note
Each of the works comprising this score, i.e. "Twenty-eight", "Twenty-six", and "Twenty-nine", are available individually from C.F. Peters as EP 67466b, EP 67466a, EP 67466c, respectively. Note that the number of instruments required to perform each piece is identical to the number in the title. The three pieces indicated in this title may be performed separately or in any combination of 2 or 3 works. In a combined performance, the longest piece should start and close, the other work(s) starting within the period of time that is the difference of length. The first viola will start the video-clock (for Twenty-Nine), the first flute (for Twenty-Eight), and the first violin (for Twenty-Six). The work is notated using flexible time brackets with single tones played only once.
