Like all the other pieces in the chamber music cycle iv, iv 7 reflects the problem of introversion as a possible compositional process. It is about the consistent development of other compositional families, sound categories, action categories, sound types and action types that have been derived and discovered from the instrumental idiom. 

The search for fragile and fragile sound states plays the central role in iv 7. It concerns expressive interstices that are located between the categorised and typologised polarities. In the end, one experiences a sound journey in the innermost through obvious existential sound traces. For those who are believers: it is about a search for sound traces of the presence of Christ in the innermost being.
