Birds Within Us (2019)
(for ensemble and birdsong)

Commissioned by Cikada Ensemble supported by the Arts Council Norway. First performed by the Cikada Ensemble in The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, Scene 2, on 14 September 2019, as part of the Ultima Festival

Additional requirements: A quadrophonic surround (preferred) or stereo PA system and a Macintosh computer with an external sound card for the playback of three sound files with bird song, one for each movement. The conductor needs an in-ear system for the click-track. The playback is done with a small computer app that is provided with the performing material.
