The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Terrapin Puppet Theatre embark upon an ambitious project to link two stages at different sides of Tasmania in a simultaneous performance.
Shadow Dreams is about two boys; one indigenous and one white who wake up one morning having dreamed the same dream. The production involves a symphony orchestra, actors, puppets and multimedia in two places at the same time - all relying on Tasmania's high speed internet.
Music composed by Graeme Koehne. Written by Finegan Kruckemeyer, Directed by Frank Newman, Assistant Director Sam Routledge, Traditional Stories contributed by the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community.
