The two organ voluntaries, 'Where does your faith lie' and 'Taking your leave' were written for 'Even You Song', a collaborative work for cathedral choir, children's choir and organ inspired by the structure and themes of Choral Evensong with poet Lucy Sheerman and artist Bettina Furnee.
The premiere was given by organist David Humphreys, took place at Peterborough Cathedral on 16th February 2017, following the re-pitching of its organ from 'Philharmonic' to 'Standard' concert pitch.

Two Organ Voluntaries were written begin and end Even You Song, an Even Song structured work inspired by the moon (read more here). Where does your faith lie? and Taking Your Leave are inspired the mysteries of space and space travel itself, but can be performed separately as organ pieces in their own right with no programmatic association!
