Performance notes:

each member of the quartet should wear headphones to hear the click track
the electronics and the ensemble should blend as much as possible so that the effect is like one composite instrument
the saxophones could be slightly amplified so that their sound and the electronics are projected in the same acoustic space
2 beats in the click track are heard before entrances at measure 1
all notes should be equal in dynamics unless otherwise specified — however, the entrances of each new note should be brought out slightly at first to emphasize the composite melody — breathe when necessary, but only right before note changes
