Rebellion in Greenery (2008)

Rebellion in Greenery (In Swedish: "Revolt i grönska") is a work inspired by a novel by the Swedish author Walter Ljungquist (1900-1974). It tells the story of a middle-aged couple planning a delightful summer holiday with a group of teenagers. Very soon, however, trouble begins and the adults lose control of the young group. I was fascinated by the idea of things starting to fall apart in a beautiful, blossoming setting, and by how unexpected events and impulses alter the course of the story - or the music.
