Programme Note
Places of Sound was written for a dance performance coreographed by Ingun Bjørnsgaard to the opening of Scene 2 of the new opera house in Oslo. The piece is in nine parts and scored for soprano, tenor, orchestra and electronics. The text used in the part «Wenn die welken blätter fließen» is taken from the opera Croesus by Reinhardt Keyser.
