Programme Note
In »Gebrochene Flugeln« [Broken Wings] almost all the registers are half drawn, so that the notation represents more of a physical challenge than a composition in sound. Nevertheless, the piece can also be performed without any detriment on an organ with electric registration (possibly equipped with a Winddrossel*), even though the composition was conceived with a fully mechanical organ in mind. Therefore, the registration used at the premiere has been included in the score, because I conceived »Gebrochene Flügel« for this small Alexander Schuke organ.
