Programme Note

Revisiting the Don was commissioned for the Michael Nyman Band by the BBC for the 250th anniversary of the birth of Mozart. As the title suggests, I revisit the same harmonic material that makes In Re Don Giovanni so powerful, and come up with more lyrical ‘solutions’.
