    Programme Note

    String Quartet No. 2 was the winner of the 2000 ASCAP Leo Kaplan Award, and also received a 2000 BMI Student Composer Award. The Chiara Quartet gave the premiere at the Juilliard School's Paul Hall in New York City on 15 November 1999.
