Programme Note
The starting point of the music is the presence of people in a cityscape which is both threatening and beautiful. People are almost absorbed by its immovable facades. In the dome of stillness which seems to hang over the crowd spring simple melodies which form their own world - or their own city morning before dawn within the city.
