Programme Note
Signals, expressions and sounds (not necessarily pleasant ones) in different layers - that is to say in different tempi or polyrhythms - is what one can hear in "Territorial Song". The experience of nature’s diversity and the living being’s tendency to hold their own and to territoralise is surprising and forever inspiring. And this experience does not make one think of European, classical form!
