Cantate Domino
Haec Dies
Jubilate Deo

Cantate Domino - Psalm 96

Cantate Domino canticum novum.
Cantate Domino omnis terra.
Cantate Domino et benedicite nomini eius.
Annuntiate de die in diem salutare eius.
Annuntiate inter gentes gloriam eius in omnibus populis mirabilia eius.

O sing unto the Lord a new song:
Sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
Sing unto the Lord, bless his name;
Shew forth his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the heathen,
His wonders among all people.

Syng en ny sang for Herren,
Syng for Herren hele jorden!
syng for Herren, pris hans navn,
Forkynd hans frelse dag efter dag!
Fortæl om hans herlighed blandt folkene,
Om hans undere blandt alle folkeslag!

Haec Dies - Psalm 118

Haec dies quam fecit Dominus.
Exsultemus etlaetemur in ea.

This is the day which the Lord hath made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Denne dag har Herren skabt,
Lad os juble og glæde os på den.

Haec dies is a beautiful and lovely day, maybe a spring morning with an unforgettable dawn.

Jubilate deo - Psalm 100

Jubilate Deo omnis terra
Servite Domino in laetitia,
Intrate in conspectus eius in exsultatione.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before his presence with singing.

Bryd ud i fryderåb for Herren, hele Jorden!
Tjen Herren under glædessang,
Træd frem for ham under jubel!

The extension of the word Jubilalalate is partly inspired by the ”jubilus-melisma” from the Gregorian chant’s Alleluja, partly by the bright, light and rhythmical fa la la’s by Morley and Weelkes.
