NOGET ANDET (1982) for mixed choir, jazz-rock combo and percussion ensemble.
”Noget andet” (Something else) – greetings to Bob Marley – is based on the bass ostinato of the song ”Misty Morning” (from the Marley album ”Kaya”). The Danish text for the many songlines above the ostinato is by the Danish poet Inger Christensen (her "Brev i April" (Letter in April), celebrating the springtime). The song was composed for the project “Østen i Vesten” (The East in the West), an ensemble consisting of vocalists, musicians and percussionists with a classical or a jazz or rock background.
