Programme Note
Duo was commissioned by Benedict Cruft and was first performed by him and Howard Shelley at the Wigmore Hall in 1970. The work uses a few motifs in a kaleidoscopic manner and it was revised in 2020. Duo lasts approximately 8 minutes.
